Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. Our holiday homes CAUSEWAY COTTAGE and SILVERSANDS we think are wonderful, relaxing places to spend a weekend or week away and we hope you will agree.

We are a young family with two young boys and have loved the East coast for as long as we can remember.

From visiting the East coast as children with our parents for day trips or maybe Primrose Valley for the weekend, or enjoying ice cream in Filey, or fish and chips at Bridlington.

This particular coast became even more important in later years, spending University years studying marine biology in Scarborough. It has always been a place close to our hearts.

On the arrival of our first child we started visiting The Bay Resort, renting other holiday cottages to enjoy the experience, so have seen it grow across the years. We have had many discussions about how lovely it would be to be able to have a holiday retreat of our own.

 In October 2019 we were lucky enough to find Causeway Cottage. On inspection we could see how the property could look, if given some TLC and could be a fantastic place for us, family and friends to enjoy, but also how we could make it a place for others to stay.

​

We as a family gave it the TLC it truly deserved and added items and knowledge of previous holidays as to what makes a FAB holiday, especially with children.

During the the spring of 2020 we came across another property on The Bay, and decided to make a fledgling business from the purchase. Having put the loving care into the second property also, SILVERSANDS was born. Take a look at the gallery photos to see where you could enjoy a fantastic break.
